Waypoint Community Summit 2023

For this year’s Waypoint, we are hosting an in-person Community Summit in San Francisco!  This event is only open to OpenSpace users and will be limited to 25 attendees, so make sure to reserve your spot today. We will be spending a full day with the OpenSpace team, watching Waypoint together and diving into product workshops. This is your chance to get your voice heard, share your ideas, and influence our products. And of course, for all our OpenSpace Community events, we will have fun learning from and getting to know each other!

• OpenSpace is hosting a happy hour after the ENR FutureTech conference. All Waypoint Community Summit attendees are invited to join us for it! (Note: You do NOT have to be attending ENR FutureTech to join us for this happy hour.)

• Meet and mingle with the OpenSpace team and with other Community members the day before we kick off the Community Summit.

• We will end our full day at the Summit with a dinner! This is optional but all Summit attendees are invited to join.

PRODUCT WORKSHOP TOPICS 

Below are the workshops that the OpenSpace Community voted for the Waypoint Community Summit. Each attendee will be assigned to a workshop for the event. On the registration form, we will ask you to rank the workshops based on your level of interest. We will try our best to place everyone in their top choice, but at the very least, you will end up in one of your top three choices. We will email workshop assignments to registrants no later than a week before the Summit.
 

•   Igniting Reality Capture Adoption at Your Organization
  Light a fire under your teams to make reality capture the most loved part of their day! Join peers to discuss what works and where the challenges lie when presenting new technologies at your organization, then tell OpenSpace what features and products to build that could make your introduction of reality capture adoption more successful.

•   Optimizing VDC-Specific Workflows and BIM Workflows for the Field
  Join us for an interactive workshop where we’ll explore the journey of a BIM model, from its creation in the office to its practical use on the construction site. Together, we’ll share knowledge, brainstorm ideas, and prioritize improvements to better support customers in leveraging BIM for improved efficiency and productivity in the field. Gain valuable insights and practical solutions that can be applied to your projects.

  Join our interactive workshop to design the “Ideal OpenSpace Homepage”! This will be a hands-on session in which participants will leverage their industry expertise & creative skills to identify the most important data relevant to their projects/organizations and visualize what that would look like in OpenSpace.
