How large community villa projects are created and maintained inside OpenSpace.

For eg., Say there is Villa project which has 100 Individual Villa's and altogether its one complete project from the client/consultant to do regular monitor. There are lot of questions.

  1. How it will be created inside OpenSpace?
  2. Whether it will one single project (Main Community - Villa) with the sub-projects (Villa) created under the main project?
  3. How the main villa project will have a link with sub villa projects?
  4. How customer can switch from one villa to another villa?
  5. How walk-through will take place?
  6. Overall report is available for Main project and Sub projects?

Hi Karthik,

Thank you for your question. There are a few different ways a large project can be set up. Some considerations we would want to think of is is it 1 villa per sheet, are you uploading a model, is the project beginning at the same time or phases.

Within any project a user can switch from sheet to sheet (villa to villa). When it comes to reporting on the projects you can merge PDF files together to allow for the data being within a singular file.

Dividing Projects
If you are planning on uploading an associated model for the project or if the project is going to commence in phases this can be an option of Villa Phase1, Villa Phase 2, Villa Phase 3. Each phase is a project.

The Group Method
We have this feature in beta now called Groups in which we can separate projects into regions or quadrants. It is a flexible feature that allows for that division that best suits your business needs. This can also be used for phases. Each area or phase is a separate project.

Overall at time of onboarding and check-ins with your Customer Success Manager you can deep dive into an option that works best for you!
