Hi everyone! I am a project coordinator for general contractor Broccolini construction in Montreal, Canada. Openspace has been a great tool for my projects including reviewing site conditions and progress of work, showing the client (who is in a different city) the status of their project, and discussions with subtrades without having to go to the site. I’m always interested in new technologies and methods being applied in the construction industry. I am looking forward to participating in the Openspace Community.

Hello OpenSpace people,

My name is Gerard, been working in NYC construction as a field superintendent mostly on the superstructure side for about 7 years between Lendlease and Suffolk.  Currently I am using OpenSpace on a 44 story residential tower that we have been able to capture every floor since the foundation prior to concrete placement which has been really useful information to have and makes a good collection of progress photos.

Really excited to keep using the new features that you guys are working on especially the progress tracker and plangrid integration as that is what my current company uses for drawings.

Feel free to say hi. :grinning:

Hello hello! I’m Mike Trabold and I’m an Associate Product Manager here at Openspace. I work with our great clients, our wonderful product team, and our talented engineers to help builders build better. Prior to joining Openspace I wore hard hats, red wings, and vests for a living, having spent 5 years with a GC in Boston and some time with a number of New York-based developers prior to that. My signature is somewhere behind one of the columns on 1 World Trade Center’s 88th floor and my fingerprints are all over Manhattan, Boston,  Dallas, and Dubai, but now I get to work across all of Openspace’s global reach. I love construction, I love architectural history, I love my dog Doyle, and I love all things Openspace, so feel free and reach out and say hi or to talk about any of the above! Doyle would appreciate it.

Hi All! My name is Josh, and I’m a Customer Success Manager here at OpenSpace. CSM’s are your day-to-day contacts at OpenSpace and our job is to train all new users and make sure your teams are getting the most out of OpenSpace!

Prior to joining OpenSpace, my passion for construction tech sparked while working as a Project Engineer on a heavy civil project for Walsh Construction. I helped roll out several PM softwares on our project and saw technology save our team hundreds of hours of work. I also had exposure to the design world, working as a Civil Engineer on projects throughout the Bay Area.

I made the jump to OpenSpace because I wanted to be a part of a team that brings technology to the construction industry. I am passionate about all things tech and photography (I trade in my Insta360 camera on the weekends for my Nikon). I have personally benefitted from technology time and time again and can’t wait to help your teams benefit from it as well :construction_worker:

Hello everyone,

My name is Maarten Brands from the Netherlands. I am a civil engineer working in assetmanagement (so civil, structural and technical aspects), mainly on (movable) civil objects like bridges, sluices, pomping stations, etc.

I am new to openspace and currently looking to see if the product can help us in inspection of civil objects. Currently testing with a Garmin Virb 360 (as we have it on one of our inspection drone-boat), and hope to expend to camera's with better base-quality.
